- Young Chef’s Academy-Ballantyne: Offers cooking classes for children ages 4 and up. Trial class is $25 for kindercooks, $35 for junior and senior chefs. After that, you must join a membership program that includes weekly classes. - Ray’s Splash Planet Mini Chef classes: Kids up to age 5 make simple things such as Rice Krispies Treats. The $6 fee includes an all-day pass for you and your kids to the waterpark. Classes are once a month except in the summer. www.rayssplashplanet.com
- Weekday Gourmet Jr. Chef Sessions: For kids ages 4-11, these sessions are one to two times per month. Kids make a wide range of things, from soft pretzels to pound cake with fresh blueberries.
